Shuffling Shirek

Charlie Shirek has received a much deserved promotion to Birmingham to take the place of Aaron Poreda. Tyson Corley, who was promoted all the way to Charlotte from Kannapolis, will more than likely move down to Winston-Salem to take Shirek’s place. Charlotte’s roster is full at 24 active players with the activation of Miguel Negron from the DL, so there is no reason to believe that Corley will stay there. UPDATE: Tyson Corley could also go back to Kannapolis, there is an open roster spot there as well with Drew Garcia put on the DL. AAA and AA have a max limit of 24 active players, High A and Low A have a max of 25.
