Phegley To Kanny

Joshua Phegley has been assigned to Kannapolis and fills the last open roster spot there. This could also lead to some roster shuffling upwards in the organization because left-handed reliever Santos Rodriguez is no longer listed on the Bristol roster and catcher Jared Price is no longer on the Birmingham roster. Price has been Tyler Flowers’ backup with the Barons. It’s possible Kannapolis catcher John Curtis moves up to Birmingham to back up Flowers and Santos Rodriguez takes his spot in Kannapolis with Zach Larson and Phegley handling the catching for the Intimidators.

Curtis is in the lineup at catcher for Kanny. Phegley is starting at DH. It’s possible that Price and Rodriguez are still with B’ham and Bristol respectively. Sometimes there are errors on the MiLB.com rosters.
