Danks Off DL

Centerfielder Jordan Danks has been activated from the Barons’ disabled list. OF/DH Lee Cruz was placed on the DL to make room for Danks. Danks has been on the DL with a wrist injury since June 14 when he was hit by a pitch. Danks is in today’s lineup, back in his usual spot, batting leadoff and playing centerfield.

    Got to love Danks return to action. In my opinion, he’s quite possibly the Sox #1 prospect although Flowers is far more polished and if a gun was to my head I’d probably pick Flowers. I just love Danks ability to play a plus CF though.
