Scouting report
Jones is a big stuff, no control guy. He had a mid 90s fastball and a devastating curveball. The Sox gave him some starts his first couple years as a pro because he needed the work, but his future is certainly as a reliever and the results have shown that. This is his first season coming solely out of the pen and he has dominated A ball hitters. If he stays healthy, the stuff is certainly there to make it to the Majors as a successful back of the bullpen caliber reliever. Health, though, is actually a concern for Jones. Scouts have complained about his arm action and delivery and he already missed time with a strained shoulder last season.
Major League Outlook: Closer if he can get his control together
