Dayan Viciedo: A First Half Review

Dayan Viciedo, the big money international signing for the White Sox this past offseason, has been a hot topic for conversation this year and unfortunately not all of the talk has been good. I’m going to break down his season to date and see what conclusions I come to.


Sox Sign First Round Pick Jared Mitchell

Today, the Chicago White Sox agreed to terms with their first round pick from the 2009 MLB draft, Jared Mitchell.

Draft Report: Nick Ciolli

Nick Ciolli was one of two Indiana State prospects along with Brady Shoemaker drafted by the White Sox in the 2009 draft, they also selected a childhood friend of Ciolli’s, Josh Phegley, out of Indiana.


Draft Report: Daniel Black

Dan Black was drafted by the Sox in the 14th round out of Purdue after a very successful college career. He spent a large amount of his time at Purdue playing catcher. The White Sox have other plans for him, drafting him as a first baseman, where he started his pro career.
