The deadline to sign 2009 draft picks is less than three days away and there is little to report in regards to White Sox unsigned draft picks.

Outfielder Trayce Thompson has signed a contract with the White Sox. He received a $625,000 signing bonus.

With their final pick of the first day of the draft, the Sox selected their first college pitcher. Bryan Morgado, a 6’3” 203 pound lefty from Tennessee, was taken 102 overall.
