With day 2 of the 2009 MLB Draft in the books I just wanted to take a few minutes to give some of my thoughts on two picks that really stood out to me from rounds 4-30.

With the 61st overall pick the White Sox grabbed high school outfielder Trayce Thompson.

Thompson is a 6’4” 200 pound righty is from Rancho Santa Margarita, California (LA area) and has committed to UCLA.
